中国北京 － 2008年11月25日 – PTC公司今日宣布中国北车股份有限公司唐山轨道客车有限责任公司（以下简称唐车) 成功部署了PTC的产品开发系统（PDS）, 使企业的数据准确性及设计效率得到显著提高。此次实施的产品包括PTC的协同设计管理平台Windchill和3D CAD/CAM/CAE解决方案Pro/ENGINEER。

作为中国最早的铁路工厂，唐车主要从事铁路客车和城市轨道车辆的研发及制造。近年来公司不断引入世界领先的高速动车组制造技术，为中国高速动车组的研发提供技术服务。由唐车生产的CRH3 350km/h高速动车组目前运营于京津城际铁路，创造了新的中国铁路第一速度，CRH3也将作为京沪高铁的主力车型领跑于中国铁路。

随着设计需求的复杂程度不断增加，唐车决定部署一个数字化的设计和生产平台。通过PTC产品开发系统，唐车实现了各地企业间的协作，数据和产品信息共享，以及设计和生产数据的集中管理。此外，Windchill将多种机械和电子CAD应用、桌面应用以及SAP ERP系统无缝连接，明显地提高了数据的准确性和设计效率。PDS与3D数字设计的整合将原来一直处于孤立的设计与制造数据管理平台连接起来，产品开发流程得到显著改善。在此平台基础上，公司与长春轨道客车装备有限责任公司还能就同一列车项目进行异地协同开发。
